چکیده
The dependence of galaxy clustering on local density provides an effective method for extracting non-Gaussian information from surveys. two-point correlation function (2PCF) a complete statistical description Gaussian field. However, the late-time field becomes due to non-linear gravitational evolution and higher-order summary statistics are required capture all its cosmological information. Using Fisher formalism based halo catalogues Quijote simulations, we explore possibility retrieving this using density-split (DS) method, which combines regions different environmental density. We show that DS more precise constraints parameters $\nu \Lambda$CDM model compared 2PCF, provide suggestions where extra may come from. improves sum neutrino masses by factor $7$ factors 4, 3, 6, 5 $\Omega_{\rm m}$, b}$, $h$, $n_s$, $\sigma_8$, respectively. compare when environment is estimated real or redshift-space positions haloes. inclusion autocorrelation functions, in addition cross-correlation functions between environments haloes, recovers most lost estimate environment. discuss constructing simulation-based methods scenarios.

Clustering of Galaxy Clusters in CDM Universes
We use very large cosmological N–body simulations to obtain accurate predictions for the two-point correlations and power spectra of mass-limited samples of galaxy clusters. We consider two currently popular cold dark matter (CDM) cosmogonies, a critical density model (τCDM) and a flat low density model with a cosmological constant (ΛCDM). Our simulations each use 10 particles to follow the mas...
متن کاملConstraining the Proton ’ s Gluon Density
We analyze the capability of charm production in deep-inelastic ep scattering at HERA to constrain the gluon distribution g(y, µ 2) of the proton. The dependence of the theoretical predictions for the charm structure function F c 2 on the mass factorization scale µ and the charm mass is investigated. We demonstrate that F c 2 is well suited for a rather clean and local gluon measurement at smal...
متن کاملGraph Clustering with Density-Cut
How can we find a good graph clustering of a realworld network, that allows insight into its underlying structure and also potential functions? In this paper, we introduce a new graph clustering algorithm Dcut from a density point of view. The basic idea is to envision the graph clustering as a density-cut problem, such that the vertices in the same cluster are densely connected and the vertice...
متن کاملGalaxy Clustering and Galaxy Bias in a Λ CDM Universe
We investigate galaxy clustering and the correlations between galaxies and mass in the ΛCDM cosmological model (inflationary cold dark matter with Ωm = 0.4, ΩΛ = 0.6, h = 0.65, n = 0.95, σ8 = 0.8), using a large, smoothed particle hydrodynamics simulation (SPH, with 2 × 144 particles in a 50hMpc cube). Simulated galaxies can be unambiguously identified as clumps of stars and cold gas a few kpc ...
